Plastic waste

Lavaris RS recycling units grind crushed plastic waste into powder with a controlled particle size from coarse (10 and 20 mesh) to fine (80 mesh) or ultrafine (200 mesh).

The result is a product usable in applications ranging from direct injection without prior pelletization, through rotational molding, use in protective and decorative powder coatings, as well as for mixing with new materials such as filler.

The fine particles have a unique elongated shape, which is attributed to the high shear conditions that occur during the grinding process.

Injection molded parts made from such activated material have mechanical and physical properties comparable to or better than those resulting from the direct conventional processing of recycled single or mixed plastics.
